Comicon 2001

In a case of what might be termed theology, PDI explores its creators. The event known as Comicon 2001 was rumored to have thousands of creators present, and PDI was there, perhaps to catch a glimpse of the two who are responsible for our world.

This strange group was spotted on the first morning of the 'Con outside The Big Kitchen. The one on the left, who calls himself "Anthony" seems to be some manner of Wolf/Human hybrid, as he sports a long grey lupine tail, but otherwise, as with all of these people, has the features of a fish. The one in the middle brazenly touching everybody is known as "Scott." More about him later. [Anthony, Aeire, Scott, Serpens, Dan Frioli, Rin]
Once we got to the Convention Center, we again saw this guy, hovering around the Keenspot booth. Here this "Scott," and a man calling himself "Serpens" despite a lack of any obvious herpetological characteristics, gawp at the higher pantheon of creators loitering behind the "Keenpot" table.
The 'Con itself is a wild rush of strange people of all types -- with the fish still highly predominant. The theological implications of the idea that the world is truly run by this disaffected minority are staggering.
This religious figure, whose image is all over the 'Con and is often associated with someone called Kevin Smith, seems on good terms with this "Scott" character. Note the badge: this looks startlingly similar to the PDI logo. What can this mean?
Toward evening, the "Anthony" and the "Scott" met up with nearly 30 other people, many of whome were self-proclaimed creators. They left the Convention Center and entered the entertainment district of the city. They all filed into a place called "Red Fish" -- further evidence of the "fish" conspiracy? Note again the PDI logo on the card held by the mysterious person behind "Scott." They took up two tables and proceeded to boisterously dine for hours. They also created two unique documents during the meal, scans of which are available on the PDI site here and here.
Later, the crowd retired to the home (known as Haven Home) of "Scott" and "Anthony" -- for a drunken debauchery worthy of ancient Rome (see also examples one, two and three -- this last shows the disturbing "PDI Storyline" sign in the background. What sort of plots are being hatched here? Does Mysto know?). Note the predominance of this "Dr. Pepper" beverage, apparently some intoxicating potion created by an alchemist of some skill. Note "Scott" is still wearing the PDI badge. Inquiry has shown that no one fitting his description has ever been enrolled at the institute. The open door in the back leads to what is known as the "Naughty Room."
It is unclear what this "Naughty Room" is actually for, but during this event is was mostly used for interactive computer gaming. Note, however, the objects in the background.
Note this odd redhead who continually appears throughout the 'Con near "Scott" and "Anthony." Her badge labels her as "Aeire" (pronounced like the Rastafarian slang term, Irey), and she is associated with the Xenith universe.
Here is a picture of the Keenspot table. Note the strange fish with blue hair. He seems to be some sort of authority figure for these people. Note also that "Scott" is still wearing the PDI badge.
Later that evening, a sub-contingent (perhaps the ringleaders?) of the fish went to a nearby hotel decorated in garish colors that could only be some sort of secret symbology lost on the uninitiated. Note the only member of this group to not be a fish is a juvenile bovine, seemingly kept here against his will.
The next day, many of the 30 reconnected. Note that "Scott" is once again in front. Also, one of the number seems to be growing flowers. A plant hybrid being?
On Saturday, events became increasingly sinister and bizarre. The elusive "Super Dave Kelly" sits behind placards advertising a plague, and "Aerie," dressed in ceremonial garb, is hiding something....
...secrets...
...and apparently turned the demi-lupine "Anthony" into a bovine. He now calls himself Pimp Cow, and has been he(a)rd to say, "Moo, bitch!"
Not only were this crowd prone to species swapping ... but apparently gender swapping as well.
There is no comment to be made here.
In conclusion, there are strange goings on in the world. Well, we knew that. It seems there's a conspiracy of fish and semi-fish to control the world. Evidence suggests that the duo known as "Scott" and "Anthony" are in charge of PDI, and perhaps the whole city, and even the plane, as others of these "creators" seem to have control over parallel universes we have no knowledge of. Mysto should be allerted and perhaps the PDI team should investigate these two further.
